THE BARN
The Barn is a residential studio on the south coast between Brighton and Hastings,
approximately one hour from London. It is the personal studio of producer / mixer Lexx.
The studio and accommodation is designed by Carl Turner Architects,
with acoustics by Sam Toyashima and John Flynn.
The studio is designed very differently to most other recording studios,
with particular emphasis placed on the quality of experience within the space.
Unique approaches to architectural design, acoustic design and interior design
have been employed throughout the studio and accommodation, to create a space that encourages
calmness, focus and appropriate attention.
